About the Image
The creation of Mimesis, 99 Moons, and Rise, three ongoing series come at a time when the struggle to accept the unfamiliar is pervasive in our culture. Mimesis explores the question “what are you?”, my experiences as a person of color in the US, and my research on identity formation through a unique cameraless process that I discovered in 2013. My ongoing series 99 Moons and newest series Rise focus on collective experiences.
