ABOUT

F22 is designed to support contemporary photographers while making art affordable and accessible to both long time and new collectors.

F22 features 22 contemporary photographers over the course of a year. Every other week, one limited edition fine art print is released and only available for that week.

Our limited-edition prints are museum-quality, printed with archival pigment inks on 100% cotton photo rag paper. Each print is numbered and hand-signed by the artist on a certificate of authenticity. Beginning April 2024, the prints are signed on the back by the artists.

Announcing the launch of f22 Fine Art Prints, a new art initiative that aims to connect the public

with high quality, affordable photography!

Chicago, IL: f22 Fine Art Prints was born out of a passion to support emerging and established photographers, and from a desire to create a new way for their work to become more accessible to art lovers and collectors. Our name comes from the f/22 camera aperture and our unique model: starting on April 9, 2021, f22 will be releasing a new, limited-edition photographic print every week for 22 weeks.

After hand-selecting 22 contemporary photographers, domestic and international, we will be showcasing two works by each participant over the course of a year. Each week, one new photograph will be released as a limited print (in an edition of 22) and will only be available to purchase for seven days. After the week ends, the piece will go into the Archive. The identity of each photographer will be revealed when their first photograph is released.

Once all 22 photographers release their first piece, f22 will host a pop-up exhibition displaying all 22 photographs. During the week of the show, the Archive will be open and all remaining prints will be available for purchase, online and in person, until sold out.

Following the exhibition, the cycle will repeat with each photographer releasing their second photograph. At the end of the next 22 weeks, f22 will host another pop-exhibition to showcase the second set of works. The exhibitions will take place in September and April. The following year, f22 will feature 22 new photographers.

In addition, f22 will be releasing weekly content for our audience to learn more about each photographer’s work, including a look inside the artist’s studio, conversations with the photographer, and more.

f22 will be a platform for photographers to connect with collectors, a place for dialogue, and an opportunity for our audience to engage; learning about the work of emerging and established contemporary photographers from around the world.

Our limited-edition prints are museum-quality, printed with archival pigment inks on 8½ x 11 inches 100% cotton photo rag matte paper. Each print includes a numbered certificate of authenticity - hand-signed by the artist.

As the art world shifts and changes, f22 is intentionally combining the strategies of online art platforms with the approach of pop-up exhibitions. We recognize the importance of seeing art in person as well as the value of virtual platforms, and utilize both in a way that benefits both the artist and the collector.

F22 Fine Art Prints is spearheaded by Tim Campos. Over the past nine years, Campos has been the Gallery Manager at Catherine Edelman Gallery, Chicago.
